What hybrid camera should I get with a 1k-2k budget?

I'm learning to become a videographer in my Latvian School and I don't know which hybrid camera i should get. I always ask my teacher about cameras that ive have looked at and want, like i asked if the sony a7 iii is good and he said it's bad😭. If you have any recommendations please only sony cameras because they were my childhood and i know my way around them a little bit. I want it intended for Music videos and just photography!
