Is the plastic of the grey ANBERNIC RG34XXSP also dyed like the purple one or is it its natural colour?

Hey everyone! I'm leaning toward the gray version specifically because I saw this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SBCGaming/comments/1kzxtnl/rg34xxsp_paint_is_peeling_off/

but if they are both painted, there seems to be no point in looking for something that will prevent the paint from peeling off.

By the way, how are your consoles holding up after long use? Is the paint showing signs of wear?
