Financial accountant charging me

Hello,

I'm new in Germany and I had some financial questions. I reached out to a financial consultant. We exchanged a few emails, I sent him some documents and today a received at 800€ bill... He did mentioned that he was charging 120€ per hours but he never provided any estimation or ever mentioned that he started to charge me.

Is this legal? What do you recommend I should do?
