Starting to not like my job
I’m going to school to be a rn and i thought working as a cna would be beneficial in a way to help me get experience. I’ve gotten around 6 months of experience and im starting to get burnt out. Nurses are never satisfied. It’s always some drama basically highschool 2.0. People don’t like the fact i do my work and go home , nurses sit around and talk about people for no reason like their teenage girls. I don’t get home till about midnight and it’s just a lot honestly. My facility gives me heavy work loads daily i have to find time every day to take my lunch break and that’s usually the only one i get and im barely getting that. The kitchen is always super late with dinner and i always have about three feeds which sets me back a lot. Idk if it’s just my facility because this is my second one or what but im starting to get burnt out and miserable. I have a passion for patient care but it seems like im never in the right environment.
