What do you do for really bad weather? Potty training indoors?
So I just got a 3 year old corgi mix. She is potty trained, but I just missed a cue cause I was doing something else at the time (cooking) and she went on the carpet. It was my fault cause she peed A LOT. I moved her to her crate and cleaned the area using enzyme cleaner. Then I put a towel over it so she and I wouldn't step on it heading to the door to go outside. She finished peeing outside and after that I made sure to pay attention to take her out. In my area we are supposed to get a freeze warning.
That kind of makes me nervous if there is ice on the ground or the metal outside stairs cause I live in a 2 story upstairs apartment. There's a shared balcony I could use, but she doesn't wanna go on pee pads. So idk what else to do. I got some of her pee on a pad and I'm trying to get her to use it, but she doesn't even sniff it and will just sit down on it. What do all of you do during really bad or even dangerous weather like a hail storm or a tornado?
