Home assistant controlling Bluetooth Matrix pixel panel
I want to create status display for some information (time, temperature, etc) and I was looking for some cheap matrix panels. So far I've bought USB Led Matrix panel for cars.
I used ESP32-C3 with ESPHome Bluetooth proxy, but I'm stuck with looking for any integration, that can actually control it. I can see my ESP found the panel via Bluetooth, but the only integration that is supposed to be able to control it (LED BLE) says it haven't found any device.
In diagnostic data from the BT I can see this information about the led panel:
{
"name": "LED_BLE_C8D5AEE8",
"address": "XXXXX",
"rssi": -54,
"advertisement_data": [
"LED_BLE_C8D5AEE8",
{
"21076": {
"__type": "<class 'bytes'>",
"repr": "b'\\x00r\\x00\\x01\\x05\\x01'"
}
},
{},
[],
-127,
-54,
[]
],
"details": {
"source": "XXXXX",
"address_type": 0
}
}
Do anyone have any experience connecting these cheap panels to HA? Or suggestion what else panel in this price range I might get?
