Samsung searching bars logic

About using searching bars on samsung phone, either in contacts app, or in any other app that has search bar: When one types one or more letters, one would expect, that words starting with those leters will start showing up - this is how it works in most phones, I guess - tested it on LG and google pixel.

Contrary to expectation, on samsung, any words containing those typed letters will appear, except those starting with them - those are usually way down the filtered list.

I know that I am not alone to view this as a problem/bother, but there are almost no complaints or anything on the internets. Actually, the only one I was able to find is on samsung forums from two years ago.

Does anyone else view this as a problem? Is there a fix to this? Tried changing launcher, but that did not help.
