Where to start as an absolute beginner?

Always wanted to get more into Geoguessr and I have a lot of downtime during work hours. Already enjoy some casual vibe based guessing and have looked around for resources, but there are a lot. Plonk-it's beginner guide has been especially useful. I know it's all good information, but I kinda struggle with starting things when the scope seems so broad. Figured I'd come here and ask about which basics I need to learn as a beginner before moving on to more difficult stuff. Thanks
