Fragrances that smell like old books?
I just opened up an old book I've been meaning to read and was hit with that dry, sweet smell of subtle vanilla and the muskiness of dead leaves and realized I'd love to find something which smells just like that book.
Maybe something to wear while sitting in some dimly lit corner of an ancient library, as you reach up to the top shelf to grab a big leather bound book with yellowing pages for research on some spooky local myth.
There are surely some potential choices for the vanilla, leathery, and woody notes to come thru, it can definitely tap into that cozy cafe type of vibe too.
Any ideas on what would perfectly capture that rich, tannic, comforting smell?
