Utility costs

Hey everyone, after moving back in with family after a break up last yr I’m finally ready to get back out on my own. My goal is to start looking and be in a place by early 2026. I am looking at apartments near Albany Med or surrounding areas (I work there) and I am trying to work out my budget.

What are you guys paying for your national grid bills? How big is your place, how many ppl live with you, etc? I’m single, and I work nights. I don’t really use lights during the day either as I spend most of it asleep lol. I’ve seen quite a few places with utilities included, but just in case I’d like an idea of the highest and lowest it could potentially be.

Also if you can recommend any landlords or complexes that would be great too as I moved from downstate and don’t really know many people/have friends up here. Thanks.
