Why do Volvo S80s have such high mileage?

I’ve been looking at S80s on autotrader and Marketplace and all the ones I’ve found either have 100,000-140,000 miles, or are from 2015 and have around 60,000/70,000 and are near on 15 grand. Otherwise there are a couple from 2003 with like 70,000.

Why are they so high mileage? And which is the better option, the 2015 lower mileage ones are a bit out of my price range tbh. I know volvos are quite robust but are they that robust to be in good condition at 130,000 miles?
