Taught my younger brother some lessons.

How important is teaching about s*x education and women bodies to men around us? How many of you actually do it?

I am all for being vocal over internet but I still think teaching even a single guy irl about feminism, women bodies and s*x education is more impactful. Especially to young guys like our younger brothers. Do you people agree with me? If yes, comment some incidents where you educated someone. I personally had some incidents:-

1. My younger brother once got caught watching corn by our parents, and they were furious ,scolding him nonstop. When I came home. I asked both my parents to let me handle it. I told them he would sleep in my room from now on, and I’d make sure he didn’t repeat it. I knew they were overreacting, so I decided to turn the situation into something positive. I took it as an opportunity to teach my brother about how porn can affect the mind, perception of women bodies, and feminism. I showed him videos by Dr. Cuterus and Leeza, and I was genuinely impressed by how quickly he understood those, much better than most older, conservative guys. Honestly, I’m proud to say that my younger brother has grown into a thoughtful, respectful young man, a true feminist and a sweetheart to all women.

2.Once, when I visited my Nani’s house, all of us cousins decided to sleep together in the same room. Everyone had fallen asleep except me and my youngest cousin. we were still chatting. I teasingly asked him if he had a girlfriend, and to my surprise, he said yes! We kept talking about her, and he was clearly head over heels in love, which was kind of adorable. But then he started saying things proudly that really annoyed me — stuff like, “Meri wali kisi aur ladke se baat nahi karti” and “Meri wali aise kapde nahi pehenti,”. So, I decided to challenge his mindset. I asked him, “So does that mean your sister is a bad girl? Because I talk to a lot of guys, and I wear those kinds of clothes.” He immediately realized his mistake and said sorry. which, honestly, most guys wouldn’t do so easily. We talked more about it, and by the end, he promised he wouldn’t make such comments about any girl again.
