Employer failed to provide reimbursement for incurred expenses

Location: IL I WFM in Illinois. My company has never had a reimbursement policy for internet. I explicitly asked about it at sign-on and they noted they don’t provide it.

I recently became aware this expense and possibly others are required to be covered by law. I am the only person in the office who works from home full-time.

Illinois has a 30 day limit on this request for reimbursement. Is there any way to recover this loss for the past 24 months?
