Are there any Legal complications to use skateboards for commute?

I recently bought skateboard out of impulsive decision, I wanted to know if I can use it for <2KM commute between Belapur CBD and Shelton Sapphire. Road/Footpath condition is good. So will police/traffic police cause any problems?
