Opinions on best use of vr&e

Im one semester into my pre requisites for radiology tech. Will hopefully apply to some programs next year once I have the classes I need.

I have full 911 bill and am currently using that. Once that is up, and program i can get into is 2 years long.

Should I try and use vr&e and preserve my 911 bill for later? ( I do plan on continuing going to school and furthering myself after obtaining my radiology credentials )

Just looking for some opinions form people who have done something similar.
