Some women should not be expecting men to pay for the entire bill, ESPECIALLY on the first date

I honestly didn’t realize that such a large amount of people still had this expectation from men until I saw a few posts where almost all the women under it (and some men) said that the man should be paying your entire bill or else you need to block him, never speak to him again, and that you dodged a bullet

The group of people who seemed to say this also were not women who wanted to adhere to their gender roles the same way they were saying men should be which confused me even more

The reasoning for this expectation is also always half baked and something along the lines of them putting on makeup and getting their nails done or women not having the same ability to work as men did 50 years before they were born

It’s also kind of funny that the people preaching that men should pay the bill were calling men who split the bull broke when they’re the ones who are coming up with any excuse just to not have to pay
