₱888 at 8PM sales?

has anyone actually managed to check out those recent ₱888 at 8PM sales for tech? i managed to see the airpods 4 make it to that exact price for literally one second before it reverted to its original price again. it’s very clearly too good to be true for people who do the regular checkout process but like ?? has anyone actually managed to bypass it or do you have to have the pesky auto-checkout bots 🙄 i just want to know who benefits from this, if anyone does at all. because i also imagine a situation where if you do manage to check an item out at such a steal price some stores would be inclined to cancel the order. these deceitful practices lol
