Any solutions other than ending it?

NSFWA Levels :snoo:

16f here, I just graduated sec 4 and I’m entering jc in a few months after my holiday. It’s only been the first few days of my holiday and my parents are clamping down on me, often walking into my room to complain about my grades (70% average), saying how everyone else is idk so much better and I’ll die unhappy or smth like that. I’ve told them in a moment of weakness that I was hoping to improve my art skills during the holidays, and now whenever they see me doing art, they will insult it and tell me that I’m useless, and art career is useless and I should study for jc 1 instead. Which is obviously not what I want as I’m someone that gets burnt out very easily. They have been using gifts and actions to manipulate me into letting them control my devices and academics, and making me doubt in myself. I know that my grades in sec 4 wasn’t the best, but I will work on it in jc and have been planning to read and record down some gp examples in my free time. If I let them have a say in my life, they will confirm set my screen time to 2h per day, the degradation will get even worse, they will sign me up for extra classes, force me to study like a dog in the holdaisy, and eventually, I will be burnt out by the start of jc 1. I have tried to communicate with them but their behaviors have not changed and they instead use the things I tell them to manipulate me, making me feel really bad about myself. I currently cannot escape them, I try to stay outside as long as possible but I have to come back for dinner and then my parents will just start asking me to answer their stupid questions and barge into my room that they removed the lock of of course. Rn, the best solution I have is to end it, but there are too many things I am living for. There is also no stupid time skip button so I can miraculously skip the torture and enter my jc 1 life. I also thought about therapy, but I saw online that it was 240/h which I definitely cannot afford ahaha. I don’t want to live through days of holiday hell, then be in a terrible condition when I start my jc 1 year and then struggle through it and get worse grades (of course). The cycle repeats itself. Just to note, please do not put any faith in my parents. I have trusted them again and again and they MADE me believe they have come to a compromise and then started to force their original ideals on me. Nothing will change ever.
