My bestf 19F and her situationship 19M called it off because of her obsessive ex. What are your thoughts?

My bestie (19) had met this boy she really liked. They hit it off instantly— both popular, both good looking. The catch being that one day she receives a text from ex A talking about ex B who was apparently going around leaking ex A’s relationship situation (bout him getting back tg with one of his exes) while claiming my bestie to be the one who told him bout it in the first place. With this context, her situationship got rly fired up upon hearing about the whole drama. What’s fucked up is that ex A showed her situationship fake chats about them (bestie and ex A) talking claiming that she had been texting him while still having a thing going on with someone else (the situationship). He believed it, called it off with her and came back later. When he did come back, things were only okay for a couple of days because after a few weeks she wud come to know that he had started losing feelings for her which he himself confessed btw so no presumptions. He was also hurt because according to him they had been talking long enough for her to rly confide in him but my baby’s been thru a lot and it’s rly okay if she needed more time imo. He often had problems with her sociable nature so her having a bunch of male friends made him uncomfy but my bestf was ready to act up on his demands so she was ready to cut ppl off too. Anyway, as of now they’re separated and my bestf is having a relatively hard time in moving on. She confronted the exes who had been practically hell bent on ruining her life or love life specifically. What are your thoughts?
