Is it worth being yourself if it means that you’ll become poor?

I think that my family is trying to use their money to control me. The problem is that I need their money to keep my class status, otherwise I might fall down the class ladder and my family is just middle class, they aren’t even rich. They’ve been using their money to control me for a long time now. And I don’t want to become poor cuz I don’t want the rich middle class kids I grew up with to know that I’m a complete loser in their eyes now, they already see me as lesser for being trans:/
