Studying for SATs as someone who lacks
I’ve been planning on studying for my sats as I’m taking them on either April 17th or May 2nd. (Idk which one) Based on my psat scores, I saw what I lack and I’ve know it for a while, I just wanted to clarify it.
I was wondering if my study schedule will be enough to score well. My goal is a 1500. I want to work hard enough for a 1550. (I’d be delusional if I thought I could score a perfect 800 on the math section) I lack in algebra 2 and trigonometry.
My study schedule is based on what I lack and what I’m strong at. I’m spending most my time studio on what I lack, which is math. I’m studying for 5 days a week, 2 hours per day. On the 5th day, I’ll do practice tests and take notes on what I got incorrectly.
Month 1 : Algebra 1 Month 2 : Algebra 2 Month 3 : geometry and trigonometry Month 4: Reading and Writing (Grammar and Vocabulary) Month 5: 2 weeks aka first half): review of my math and practice exams. Month 5: Review of my Reading and Writing and practice exams (2 weeks aka Second half)
Is this okay? Do I need to do editing? I’ve been studying off my schedule for nearly a month now just to see if there’s anything else I need to work on. I really want to score well.
