This is my dog Ber. The photos are in chronological order over a period of about 5 months.

He has a swelling above his **right eye** that keeps coming back. We’ve been to the vet around **10 times** by now. He’s had multiple courses of **antibiotic pills** (which didn’t really help much), and also **two antibiotic injections** during this period. The injections cause the swelling to go down significantly for a few days, but then it quickly comes back, sometimes overnight. One day it’s just a small bump on his head, and the next his eye is almost swollen shut again.

In the very beginning, when the swelling first appeared, he **couldn’t open his mouth**, **wouldn’t eat anything**, and even **under heavy anesthesia** he still reflexively pulled his head away whenever the vet tried to open his mouth. When he was fully sedated, the vet found a **grass seed** lodged on the *upper left* side of his palate, but the swelling is on the **right** side, so it doesn’t really explain it.

Has anyone ever experienced something similar with their dog or knows what this could be? Any tips or ideas are very welcome! We’re planning to get a **CT scan done in Germany soon** (I live in the Netherlands).
