19 y/o with only 28 teeth (wisdom teeth included)

Hi everyone! Is it common to have only 28 teeth as an adult? Super conscious ako sa ngipin ko lately. I didn’t grow up with good oral hygiene, kaya ngayon ang dami kong sira sa ngipin. Recently, sobrang dami kong iniisip about my teeth kasi for extraction na yung tig-isang molar ko sa left and right. I’ve never been to a dentist before (hirap kasi kami financially), pero ik na for extraction na yung level ng sira nila 🥹.

While overthinking, napansin ko bigla na I only have 28 teeth total—kasama na dun yung wisdom teeth ko. Yung dalawang nasa lower jaw, kakalusot lang recently. Wala akong gaps, pero I realized na yung missing teeth ko are all pre-molars. Bale I only have one pre-molar per side (up and down), tapos tig-dalawang molars, plus the wisdom teeth.

Ano po kaya ang possible effect kung wala akong isang pre-molar per side (up and down), tapos mawawala pa yung tig-isang molar (down, left and right) pag pina extract? 😞
