Joining date delayed due to BGV – How long does it take?

Hi everyone,

My joining date at KPMG has been extended because the background verification (BGV) is still in process.

• How many days does BGV usually take to complete?
• If something comes up as unclear or “fishy,” can they revoke the offer letter?

Would appreciate any insights from those who have gone through this process.
