I want to get an underwater diving job

Though I’m not sure what school is best, where to even begin looking, or what jobs would be stable.

I live near DIT, but upon reading multiple threads, it sounds like it sucks besides the DCBC cert.

I’ve read Louisiana has good schools, but is it all worth it? I keep reading the field is over saturated and doesn’t make the money people think it will.

I just want a cool job that lets me do interesting things and I’ve always wanted to be a welder.

Anyone with experience, please share your advice, sorry for sounding so naive about any of it in advance.
