Honestly, I have tried so hard to discuss this with people but these days you're not allowed to have an opinion that goes against the hype grain.

This game looks so sus it's unreal.

In terms of media it's the same clips of the same combat over and over again or that trailer where we see scripted scene of the protag walking through the city selfie style while changing clothes and scenes.

The booth they set up at the TGS? Only one mainstream clip out there of the gameplay and it's a rep trying to stay hype and cheer someone on while all they're doing is walking around and using some telekinetic ability to pick up a garbage can and throw it at a passing civilian and that's it.

No story trailers, no development trailers, nothing from the team where they're talking about how the game plays or the work they put into it. All we do know is that it's free and it'll be launching with an in game store where the only thing they'll charge you for is an apparent house and character cosmetic system.

I just have this icky feeling that when the game does launch it's going to be a hodgepodge that they'll promise they're developing more content for soon while in truth just being an empty open world map meant to be a quick cash grab to make up for where NetEase is losing money with other games.

Unpopular opinion; The hype surrounding Ananta is covering up how suspicious the lack of info is.
