Help with parker quinkflow ballpoint refill in twsbi precision ballpoint

Hi all,

I recently bought a parker quinkflow F blue refill for my twsbi precision ballpoint pen. When I fully close the pen, the click button actuation doesn't work and the refill gets stuck, but if I keep the pen case slightly open by 1 or 2 turns the actuation seems smooth. Have I bought the wrong refill or is there some other issue?
