Is Tinder actually...crazy?

Are there lesbians who've had luck finding a gf on Tinder. The lesbian community or whatever tab it was, is literally full of men and male creeps and they're the ones who write creepy messages to me. And the girls I write to never reply back. So is Tinder even helpful?
