Heat therapy

Has anyone else found heat to cause them more pain that relief? Particularly relaxing in a jacuzzi. I have not actually been diagnosed yet I have my emg next month my the hand specialist said it’s most likely cubical tunnel since I have the symptoms, but I’ve noticed last night I submerged my arms in the hot I seem to be having a constant feeling of pressure in the joint just under below the ring finger nail.
