Blue Book: Offers timeline?

This is my first time applying for Blue Book, so I am not totally sure how this part of the process works. Is it the case that if we are selected by our first choice we will be contacted this week? Or might they not look/choose until the end of the third week?

And with rejections, do they send these out as soon as the unit has chosen a candidate or do we have to wait until the end of Phase 1?
