Narcissa Malfoy as DADA teacher and Head of Slytherin?
So recently I was wondering who would be the heads of houses post Battle of Hogwarts. I believe Slughorn would retire relatively quickly after the war as he has already retired once, which leaves the head of Slytherin position open.
As for DADA, I believe Harry would take on the job eventually after going and being auror whilst his kids are at school.
Then I thought of Narcissa Malfoy who could do both of these jobs before Harry takes over. My reasons for thinking of her is that she did not go to Azkaban, is a Slytherin who is somewhat redeemed, obviously cares for her child and hopefully all children, and seems a skilled witch. When we leave her at the end of the book her husband is in Azkaban and she has no job, so I think it would make sense for her to live her last years at Hogwarts taking care of children as she almost failed to protect Draco.
I just wonder if she is powerful enough. We see he rise some incredible magic at Malfoy Manor and of course against Bellatrix. Plus, she lies to Voldemort, a skilled legilimens, so perhaps she is a master at Oclumency?
Do you think Narcissa would be fit for the job? Do you think she is a powerful witch?
