MEng program with Co-op - how tough is to secure a placement?
I’m a Canadian passport holder who grew up and was educated overseas. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree in ME and am planning to come to Canada for the first time in my life to pursue the MEng in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (Co-op), specialising in Building Systems. I was wondering how difficult it is for students to secure a co-op placement - is this something the university helps arrange? Do firms require previous experience? The co-op opportunity is the only reason I’m interested in this program.
