I hope this isn’t a stupid question.

I’m just curious if a result from an ancestry test on say ancestry.com can miss out parts of your ethnicity that are in your dna for some reason or another. If not why. If yes how can this happen. I’m curious to know a lot more about these ancestry tests and I know they aren’t 100% accurate or perfect or anything I’d just love to learn more. Thanks.
