Right-handed batting leftie?

Hi!

I just started practicing baseball as a new hobby at 21.

Coming from tennis, I feel much more comfortable batting left-handed than right-handed, as I’m used to hitting a backhand with both hands.

Would it be better long term if I switched to right-handed batting, considering I’m not a leftie?
