What's up with young people and WhatsApp?

Basically any young person I know in my friend group has lots of unread text messages. Like what's the big deal with having many unread WhatsApp messages. I know some of the people reading this have them so I'd love to know how you people get there. . It's not that hard just reply the fucking text. It's not gonna cost you anything to aswe the fucking text. You could be missing out on alot pia. You don't know where the conversation will lead.
