Longest standing client ghosted me.

I knew eventually something like this would happen, but certainly not this abruptly.

Had a very old client (I think she started coming to me in my 2nd year behind the chair) up and ghost me the other day. She’s a teacher and usually has her year booked out by August. I had a lot going on in my world between June and September so I wasn’t tracking things as diligently as usual. Was thinking about this particular client and realized I hadn’t seen her since mid September.

I reached out, made sure she knew I was thinking about her and hoping everything was ok. 0 response. There was one or two times in the past where she leaned on at-home color, so she may have switched to that to save money. Hopefully nothing horrible happened. Hopefully it wasn’t my fault somehow.

Just a very low feeling after already feeling rough with the lack of clientele lately. Here’s hoping this closed door opens another.
