Character help: Hurt Gorbrain, Orc Bard

Trying to put together a character I'd like to run and looking for advice to make it feasible. Not interested in homebrew classes; I'd like to stick to the rulebooks as much as possible.

So I want to create a character who's part of an orc warband - specifically the lead guitarist (geddit?) but I've never played a bard and mostly I just stick to martial classes so I'm not confident about how to make a strength-based bard with a melee focus.

General ideas I have right now are mostly aesthetic; dude plays heavy metal-based inspirational songs, wields a battleaxe fitted with strings, frets and pickup so it also functions as an electric guitar, and basically tries to hit as many of the classic sex-drugs-and-rock'n'roll star tropes as possible. Dude is equally happy blasting out tunes from the stage or swinging his axe around in the mosh pit (orc concerts go hard!)

Basically trying to make the orcyest bard I can, which I figure will also mean some multiclassing to fighter. I'd go with barbarian but I don't think that works since you can't spellcast while raging.

Specifically looking for subclasses, spells, feats, etc. that would make a character like this practical, if not necessarily optimal.
