Placitas group lands 240 thousand dollar grant to design new community plaza

The Placitas Artists Series just got a 240 thousand dollar grant to move forward with plans for a community plaza and will host a public design session on November 15 at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. Residents can share ideas that designers will turn into concept renderings for the proposed space.

The project could become a new cultural and economic hub for Sandoval County, bringing more activity and local business into Placitas while giving the community a shared public gathering spot.
