Why is dark souls 1 so extemly hyped up

There are so much E and even F tier bosses in this game like ceasless discharge. Sanctuary guardian, bed of chaos, iron golem, moonlight butterfly and nito. But there are still good bosses like artorias, four kings, O&S, manus,kalameet, taurus demon, quelag and gwyn but the only S tier bosses are O&S and manus.the areas aren't the best too the only S tier areas are anor londor and darkroot garden. And ds1 has so many bad areas crystal cave, darkroot basement, Oolazile city, demon ruins, lost izalith and the worst area of all time blightown. But this game is still an 8,5/10
