Should I rest a few days or resume?

Simple Questions

The injury is not related to any workout or using any equipment.

I got hit by an elevator in the forearm. I guess the sensor didn't work! It was sore all yesterday. I iced it and feels better today. But, I don't know if I should work out today or use my pull up bar.

Should I rest a few days?

I was thinking of going and just working out legs - making it a 'legs day.'

I don't know when I should resume but I'd like to try the gym there out - and want to start a program - and try arms/chest. I was going to use an app from my phone. Any suggestions for which one? There seems to be a lot of them to choose from. The gym has a lot of weights so hopefully, there's enough for what I'll need/want.

I don't know what is there - it's not a large chain gym. But, they have some machines - hopefully, something I can do with legs and they have some treadmills. I also do some things at home - I just got a pull-up bar and was going to get some push-up handles.

I actually have a question on that if I can add that question as well?

I like the ones that have a 'paddle' at the bottom and the 'handle bar' is on more of an angle than others. They're kinda expensive though - in my country - at least $30 plus tax. I was looking at used ones, much cheaper $10 - but, they're the traditional type which I'm not a big fan of and many of then don't have much of an angle to them.

Thoughts?
