Local grocery stores charging exorbitant prices

What’s with local groceries?!? They make hand-over-first profits and NOBODY says anything! Sure things are expensive because of the Jones Act, but they charge OUTRAGEOUS prices! We can’t say it’s because of their staff because when Donki opened up, it was filled with disaffected employees from these well established stores because they were paid better by Donki. These stores are just like extorting people with ridiculous mark-ups! Thoughts??? insights?
