Has Boracay been ruined by flooding?

Me and a few girlfriends are planning a trip there next month but have heard that the island has been ruined by recent flooding earlier in 2025 and a friend recommended against it!

Can any local or people have been there recently confirm?

We decided Borocay not go Santiago due to rainy season.
