Lost My Baby During Delivery — Seeking Hope and Guidance to Try Again
I recently lost my baby during delivery due to a cord prolapse. I was in active labor for a normal delivery, but in the final stage, the doctor noticed that the umbilical cord was coming out first. They immediately performed an emergency C-section, but sadly, my baby could not be saved.
I am completely heartbroken and devastated, but trying to stay strong. I deeply long to hold a baby in my arms again and wish to conceive as soon as possible. However, I keep reading online that I should wait at least one year after a C-section before trying again.
For mothers who have gone through something similar — how long did you wait before trying again? Did anyone conceive earlier, and if so, were there any complications or did everything go smoothly?
I would truly appreciate your experiences and guidance. Thank you. 🤍
