Does it affect the hiring process?

Hello. I recently applied to one of the biggest telecom companies here sa pinas and it’s been weeks na walang feedback but if I am checking sa portal “In progress” pa naman yung application ko. Maybe the calamities we have right now is affecting the hiring process? Or ganito talaga basta big company?
