Double-Tap Passthrough is useless now
Hi there, I have a weird speculation that since the new update with immersive home and other stuff has been added, they've made the quest way less multitask friendly in addition to this new and weird "Immersive Home Environment" (rip my old home environment). I'm using the Quest 3 and I've always liked how I could multitask there and make sure I'd be able to do a lot of gimmicks and other things
Whenever I'm in an app back then, I used to be able to use the double tap feature to open my menu to do something else like multitasking or typing in a different app etc. Surely this isn't an issue to some cause you can use the menu button on the right controller. but this is NOT the case for things like Link. I use my Quest to link to my computer to play PCVR games like VRChat but I still need the Quest's menu to open certain things like the Settings or open the camera or use its own browser to search something etc. while kind of AFK from my PCVR game(to save resources) and I always used the Double-Tap feature cause it used to open the menu as well
Now after the dumb update, it only just lets me see the passthrough environment with a little window saying "Resume your experience any time you want" that only takes you back into the game/link and there is NO OTHER WAY to access your settings, or personal apps thats on your standalone Quest device than to quit Oculus Link (ie. needing to quit the game and everything I'm using on link).
It makes me sad cause even if everyone I knew didn't like the Quest so much, I always liked it cause of how free I can use it as its own device. now its new features just made it dumber. How do I reroll it back to its old update or at least make my double-tap thing be useful again?
