Katie is homophobic and biased but she doesn't hate Charlie as much as her masters demand, that's why her news about Charlie was too positive for Vox's taste. Charlie stopped heavenly menace and Katie appreciates that.

Season 2's main villain is TV overlord Vox, and since Radio overlord Alastor is gone, what if Katie helps Charlie so Hazbin Hotel can win the media war?
