w11 keeps freezing after replacing gpu

so i recently replaced my gtx 1070 with a rx 6600 and ever since then my w11 has been performing like shit. pretty much what happens is that whenever i do something that needs a bit more power then it just cant handle. multiple firefox tab + discord and spotify? the whole OS freezes, i cant move my mouse and i get a black screen. i removed the old gpu drivers with ddu and have normal amd drivers. any help would be appreciated

16 gib ram

rx 6600 8 gib vram

windows 11 pro 24h2
