Oh my God. I feel so alone.
While my screentime can be as high as 10 hours when i have nothing to do, I think I am not a addicted person. I can put my phone away when I'm outside just fine, and I'll always choose a real life experience over scrolling/browsing websites. However... people around me don't seem to be the same.
Everyone is always on their phones/computer. On the bus, on the streets etc. it's like a cancer. I don't know if it's just so exaggerated where I live (small town) but I can't even walk 10 meters without seeing ANYONE either on a phone or with headphones on.
Seems like everyone is just living in their own world and it's taking a toll on me lately and especially it's worsening my generalized anxiety.
First of all, I wanna get away from this country immediately. But when I finally move to the country I want to, how am I supposed to make new friends when I finally move, if everyone maybe is just as addicted as this city?
I have never had many friends,, I just want people who I can talk to, but what if noone will want to talk to me because they'd rather stay on internet than engage with others? I feel like I was born too late for having a good life with friends, (I'm 24)
I'm sorry if this sounds dramatic, I just wanted to vent with people I think will understand me.
