Leaving BCBS FEP Blue Basic for FBSP High Plan
This Open Season I decided to drop BCBS Basic and switch to the FSBP High Option Plan. Anyone here currently on it — how do you like it so far? It’s running me about $100 per paycheck (Self Only) with a $300 deductible, but the coverage looks amazing: 100% stateside coverage on most things, only 10% coinsurance overseas, no referrals needed, and perks like Teladoc/vHealth, direct billing with 400+ foreign facilities, and up to $400 a year in wellness rewards. On paper, it seems like a really solid deal — almost too good to be true. Curious to hear if anyone’s run into any downsides or surprises.
