Getting a bit nervous about my flight on Thursday

Alright so I have only ever flown one other time, same exact trip as this time. I'm going BTV - ORD - OKC on the 13th (then return OKC - ORD - BTV on the 17th). Since I only have the one time experience how screwed am I with only a 62 minute layover in ORD given the gov shutdown? The last two times I had 1.5 hours layover and felt like I had a lot of time for any delays or taxiing waiting for our gate to clear, and when I booked this trip there were no long layovers at a decent price so I took this knowing that I had plenty of time last time, but that was before the government shutdown. I don't have any wiggle room to change my flight at this point and I really am hoping that I don't get stuck in Chicago on my way to Oklahoma.

Not really knowing what I'm doing I booked this whole flight and rental through Expedia (I've already learned my lesson and won't be doing it that way again) I'll be flying into Chicago at 6:32pm, and my seat is at the back of the plane. I'm prepared to run to my gate if necessary, just have my two carry on bags, both of which are pretty light. I've heard a few stories of delays and missing flights over the last several days so now I'm starting to panic. Is my panic justified or am I going to be alright?
